Murder at the Gelateria
Praise
Victoria Amarin’s Murder at the Gelateria is a charming cozy mystery set on the Adriatic coast. Bianca Moretti is a relatable main character who balances running her gelateria with unraveling a murder that shakes her town. The blend of seaside atmosphere, local gossip, and suspense makes for an engaging read.
Such a fun read! I binged it over two evenings and really liked the seaside atmosphere. The gelato shop details were adorable, and Bianca is the kind of character you root for right away. I’ll definitely read the next book.
Not my usual style of mystery, but I found myself hooked. The writing has a nice flow, the clues fit together neatly, and the Italian backdrop gives it a unique charm. A lighter take on crime fiction, but very satisfying.
